And, since most people reported an increase in total sales, it seems likely they are experiencing a similar increase in sales due to the use of Bangla-Pesa. Given that we estimate businesses have an excess capacity which represents 144 percent of their average sales, just one week of Bangla-Pesa usage may have helped businesses owners achieve 15 percent of this potential increase.”
